Heredis verify every data in the repository section.<\/p>\n<p>To manage all repositories registered in your genealogy file<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>select the <strong>Tools <\/strong>Menu<strong> &gt; Repositories Index<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>or directly from the <strong>Sources index<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>click on <strong>(Windows)<\/strong> Tools button \/ <strong>(<\/strong><strong>Mac)<\/strong> Option (cogwheel) button then select <strong>Repositories Index;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>or from the toolbar click on the\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1681\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/131-DicoRepository.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"30\" height=\"25\" \/> button in the Index <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-18454\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Button_Index.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"28\" height=\"30\" \/> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See also <a href=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/en\/indexes-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Indexes: generalities<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Create a new repository<\/h3>\n<p>When entering a new source, the <strong>Entering repository<\/strong> screen automatically opens if the repository doesn&#8217;t already exist in your file.<\/p>\n<p><em>Windows Entering Repository\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2449 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/repository_entering_pc_EN.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"608\" height=\"520\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Mac Entering Repository<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2448 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/repository_entering_mac_EN.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"548\" height=\"621\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To add a new repository from <strong>Repository Index<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1140\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/16-plus.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/>\u00a0button to enter a new repository.<\/li>\n<li>Write all the data you dispose of on the new repository in the sections: name, address, call #, email, website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can also add a note: write directly in the word pressing, and use the toolbar if you wish to edit.<br \/>\nCheck the <strong>Private Note<\/strong> box to exclude this note from file exports and publishing.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Access to a repository<\/h3>\n<p>Click directly in the R<strong>epository index<\/strong> in the displayed list.<br \/>\nor Press the arrow touch of your keyboard to access it.<br \/>\nor Enter the first letters of the repository in the search bar. You can reduce the repository list by ticking the box \u201c<strong>unused repositories<\/strong>\u201d to see only the unused repositories and eventually delete them.<\/p>\n<p>When you select a repository in the list, find directly to the right the entered information: name, address, call #, email, website and note.<br \/>\nThe sources using the repository are displayed under the repositories index.<br \/>\nDouble-click on one of the use to display directly the detail of the concerned source.<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Modify a repository<\/h3>\n<p>Heredis allows you to modify a repository at any time.<br \/>\nSelect the repository to modify then click on the pencil <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1130\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/16-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/> button.<br \/>\nOr double click on the displayed repository in the list.<br \/>\nModify directly the sections you want. If you erase a used repository, it will also be erased from the linked source.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Multi-Selection<\/h3>\n<p>To treat multiple repositories at the same time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Press the <strong>(Windows<\/strong><strong>)<\/strong> Ctrl or Maj \/ <strong>(<\/strong><strong>Mac)<\/strong> Cmd or Maj key and, while holding this key down, click on the different repositories you wish to select.<\/li>\n<li>Then choose the appropriate action, erasing or replacement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A repository corresponds to who holds the original document.
