You will find entry boxes for notes on persons, families, events, media, sources, surnames, given names, occupations and plac\u00ades. The notes are equipped with formatting tools integrated in the Heredis software. One may also paste formatted text from other applications (word processors, browsers, desktop publishing tools, etc.) though images are ignored. Display the notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(<strong>Mac<\/strong>) Choose <strong>Person<\/strong> menu <strong>&gt;<\/strong> <strong>Edit Person Note<\/strong> or <strong>Edit Family Note<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>(Windows) <\/strong>Choose <strong>Person<\/strong> menu &gt; <strong>Edit Notes<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>or Click the <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1340\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/noteAucune.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" \/>ou <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1341\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/notes_full_pc_EN.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"37\" \/> button in the toolbar if it is displayed.<\/li>\n<li>Click directly in the Note field when displayed on the navigation or data input screens (input tabs, indexes, media, etc..).<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Data<\/strong> screens, click on the pencil <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1130\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/16-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/> to access the note.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Enter the text of the note or paste the contents of the clipboard.<br \/>\n3. Use the formatting tools in the text editor.<br \/>\n4.
