Click on <strong>Done<\/strong> to close the window.<\/li>\n<li><strong>(Windows)<\/strong> Either drag it from right to left or click on <strong>Hide<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To order the icons\n<ul>\n<li><strong>(Mac)<\/strong> Drop the icons and place them in the order you want.<\/li>\n<li><strong>(Windows)<\/strong> Click on the <b>Up <\/b>and <b>Down <\/b>buttons or drag and drop on the list. Click the closure button and they will disappear from the column.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(Windows)<\/strong> You can hide or display the\u00a0<strong>Search\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Tools\u00a0panels<\/strong> on one side or the other of the screen. Click the arrow at the top of the panels\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-287\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/fleche-gauche-palette.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"19\" height=\"19\" \/>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-288\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/fleche-droite-palette.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"22\" height=\"20\" \/>to open or close them or choose\u00a0<strong>Windows <\/strong>menu <strong>&gt; Show\/Hide Tools <\/strong>Panels, or<strong>\u00a0Show\/Hide Search<\/strong>\u00a0panels, or\u00a0<strong>One panel at a time<\/strong>. You can also swap the panels. The arrow button to the right <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13628\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ArrowRight_16.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/>or left <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13625\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ArrowLeft_16.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/> will display the column, you can click on the cross button to hide the panel. The cogwheel <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13631\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/action.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"10\" height=\"10\" \/> button at bottom right will give you access to any panels which have been removed. A simple click will display the panel again.<br \/>\nThe procedure for opening the panels may be different for each col\u00adumn. Select <strong>Open one panel at a time<\/strong> and the panel which is open will automatically close when another panel is opened in the same column. Otherwise the panels will remain open as long as you have not clicked the disclosure triangle.<br \/>\nAdd a column of panels if you want to have more information simul\u00adtaneously displayed.<br \/>\nYou may reposition a panel in the column or to another column by drag and drop with the mouse. Its new position is indicated by a blue line and then release the mouse to place it there.<\/p>\n<p><em>(Mac) Available Panels<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18480\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/search_panel_en_mac.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"209\" height=\"97\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18483\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/tools_panel_en_mac.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"208\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>(Mac) Display a hidden panel from cogwheel<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18487\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/panel_mac_en.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"136\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Resize the panels<\/h4>\n<p>Panels are resizable in width. Click on the line between panel\/navigation screen.<\/p>\n<p>The cursor shape will change and turn into <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17450\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/retouche_retournement_horizontal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/>. You may increase or decrease the proportion of the screen allocated to the panels. The display area of the panel is vertically adjustable in the same way. If your cursor shape becomes <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17450\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/retouche_retournement_horizontal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/> or\u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17471\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/retouche_retournement_vertical.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/>, you can change the size of the column or area.<\/p>\n<h4>Arrange the panels<\/h4>\n<p><strong>(Windows)<\/strong> Panels may be positioned to the right or left of the navigation screen. You can change their position by using the <strong>Windows<\/strong> menu &gt;<strong>\u00a0Swap<\/strong> <strong>Tools<\/strong> <strong>and Search\u00a0panels<\/strong>. Select\u00a0<strong>Open one panel<\/strong> <strong>at a time<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0<strong>Windows\u00a0<\/strong>menu to save space on your screen. Heredis automatically closes the open panel when you click the arrow to display the other panel.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18490\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/panel_arrange_en_pc.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"269\" height=\"94\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>(Mac)<\/strong> Move the panels by using drag and drop. Click the top bar of the panel and drag to the desired location for the panel in any panel column.\u00a0When the desired destination is highlighted by a blue line, release the mouse. Choose\u00a0<strong>Open One Panel at a Time<\/strong>\u00a0by using the\u00a0<strong>Options <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17423\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/roue-dentee.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/> <\/strong>panel button. Heredis automatically closes the displayed panel when you click the display triangle of another panel. Use Window menu to <strong>Show<\/strong> or <strong>Hide right<\/strong> or <strong>Left Panels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18499\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/panel_arrange_en_mac.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"211\" height=\"70\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 id=\"method\">Select data entry method<\/h3>\n<p>Heredis allows you to display only the information that you commonly use. This visual selection mode in no way changes your data, which are still preserved whether or not you display them. You can change the data entry mode at any time.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on whether or not you have a complete deed or just a mention on a website, you will not need the same input fields. This is why the Heredis data entry fields are modular.<\/p>\n<p>There are three data entry modes (<strong>Basic<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Comprehensive<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>Customized<\/strong>) that you may use in different ways depending on the data input screen (<strong>Add<\/strong> screen, <strong>Personal Data<\/strong> tab, <strong>Family Group Data<\/strong> tab).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Basic<\/strong> mode is displayed by default. This mode displays only the main fields. You can change the data input mode at any time.<\/p>\n<p>Choose between Basic, Comprehensive or Customized mode by clicking on the cogwheel <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-602\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/roue_dentee_xxl.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"25\" height=\"23\" \/> on top right of <strong>Add<\/strong> screen, <strong>Personal Data<\/strong> tab or <strong>Family Group Data<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p>Prepare the data entry screen to your liking by using the\u00a0<strong>Customized<\/strong> view.<\/p>\n<p>Each data entry screen will then display the selected items. Every inputting screen can display a different mode. You can for example choose Basic mode for <strong>Add<\/strong> screens and Customized mode for <strong>Personal Data<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18508\" src=\"https:\/\/help.heredis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/display-mode-en-pc.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"244\" height=\"122\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Check the items not displayed <\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you choose the <strong>Basic<\/strong> or <strong>Customized<\/strong> display modes, it may hap\u00adpen that certain information entered does not appear.
