Heredis can edit standard reports provided with the software and create your own report templates. Each report displayed can be changed simply. You can also save or print it directly.<\/p>\n

Create a report<\/h3>\n

1. Scroll down the Documents<\/strong> menu and select one of the standard reports supplied by Heredis. Some reports are constructed from the primary person displayed on the navigation screen (ancestors, descendants), others treat all people saved in the file regardless of their family links or their role (alphabetical, anniversaries, events, families…).<\/p>\n

2. Once you have selected, click the report for it to be constructed.<\/p>\n

Info<\/strong> \u2022 Hold the mouse over the name of a person to see an infor\u00admative box on this individual. Double-click a line from the report to access all information on the person presented on the Immediate Family<\/strong> tab or any other data entry tab.<\/p>\n

Compose a report<\/h3>\n

When you display a report, the menus and buttons are different, the toolbar indicating the changes you can make (Options<\/strong> – Styles<\/strong> – Data<\/strong>). You will also find two buttons for processing the modified report (Export<\/strong> and Edit<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Move each column by drag and drop. Sort the columns with a click in the column header; an arrow appears in the header of the column. If the column is not sortable, Heredis alerts you.<\/p>\n

Resize columns<\/h4>\n

1. Move the mouse cursor to the edge line between two columns until it changes to a double arrow\"\".
\n2. Hold the mouse button down and drag it to change the column width in the desired direction.<\/p>\n

Rearrange the columns<\/h4>\n

1. Click the header of the column to be moved.
\n2. Hold the mouse button down and drag it to the new location.<\/p>\n

Modify the order of data in the columns<\/h4>\n

Click the column header. If the column is sortable, an arrow will indi\u00adcate the sort direction.
\nWhen data are grouped in the columns, sorting is applied within each group.
\nInfo<\/strong> \u2022 Access to adding or deleting columns is done with the \"\" button. You can create as many columns as you like within the space available for printing.<\/p>\n

Select the Report options<\/h4>\n

The options are different for each type of report. They modify the data displayed in the report.
\n1. Click the Options \"\"<\/strong> button or choose Template > Options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Indicate the types of data to be displayed.<\/p>\n
